So yes I do really really LIKE doughnuts!!
Last week I went on a little duck hunt at Granville Island. I was looking for a little yellow rubber duck. Edible Canada opened up its take out window and did a challenge for social media and visitors to Granville Island. Here is what they did:
We have strategically placed (aka hidden) over 20 rubber duckies around the island that offer anyone and everyone a chance to win some Little Ducker donuts from our take-out window. There are two sizes of these rubber duckies to be found.
The little ones will offer $1 off an order of Little Duckers and the large ducks will get you an order FREE!

Sadly on my duck, hunt I didn’t find one of the little yellow ducks. But I’m going to try again!
I DID find the LITTLE DUCKERS window!!
This is Vanessa. She is one of the friendly people that works at the station and serves up doughnuts to customers.
I ordered the WHEN STICKY PIGS FLY.
When i got the doughnuts the looked fantastic i couldn’t wait to dig in, so i did. They were DELICIOUS imagine bacon on top of melted chocolate on a warm ball of duck fat deep fried dough!!
Here’s me digging in!
They have 4 different flavours to choose from! Next time I am going to try BRING THE PAYNE, it has maple syrup topped with Vancouver’s HOTTEST sea salt!!
Maybe if I am nice, they will teach me how to make them?!
I know!!!
I suggest that you go on a little duck hunt of your own!!

Hi Liam,
My name is Megan and I work with a national non-profit organization called Meal Exchange. We LOVE your blog and that you are so interested in local food!
Our annual Trick or Eat campaign is happening in October and we would love for you to be an Ambassador. Trick or Eat is an annual event run by Meal Exchange where people from across North America go door-to-door collecting non-perishable food items rather than candy. The donations made on Halloween night support more than 100 local food agencies (such as food banks, shelters and soup kitchens) from British Columbia to Newfoundland and even some cities in the United States.
We would love to have you as an Ambassador to encourage youth like yourself to get involved in their communities to fight hunger in Canada.
